David Hatch has been working in broadcast television in
Canada for over 25 years. He started his career back in 1981 in Toronto, working as an audio engineer for local multilingual station CFMT Channel 47, and later helped TSN’s fledgling operations department launch The Sports Network-TSN in 1984. He worked for four years as an entertainment writer/producer and a daily news reporter with Global Television Network in Toronto. Then in 1989, David began his career as an independent producer/director/writer working primarily in sports.
