Music and Concert Production:

At Whistlestop, we love and respect music. We have the chops to produce live concert videos for DVD and broadcast, starting with multi camera mobile shoots, through to in house HD video editing and graphic design, to Pro Tools C24 5.1. sonic design. We also love a story. In 2007 we created and produced the five part, five hour HD documentary series BackStage Secrets, showcasing the legendary band RUSH and their forty man road crew during the Snakes and Arrows Tour. In 2008, we produced a one hour documentary on Lyle Lovett and his Large Band, and a series of HD music videos with jazz pianist Michael Kaeshammer. Musicians and industry executives agree on one thing: the combination of concerts with documentary story telling is a proven way to increase fan base and sales.
